Sick…
It really sucks to be sick!!! Esp on a saturday! It leave me really aimless and restless alone at home!!! Missed PRE XMAS SERVICE!!! Cant believe it. Stupid devil!!! Actually i think i really over work myself. Before camp sleep very little due to work and stuffs. After camp sleep even lesser! Haha… Started feeling sick on thurs night during work… Pushed myself on. Den fri woke up 7 went outreach, went home shepherding den went for NE xmas party decor and pm… ate panadol but no time to rest. However i did not regret wat i did on friday! Really a fruitful day. Got some contacts in the outreach. Learned somethings in the shepherding though i think if not sick i can absorb more. Enjoy doing decor! (all the time!) Den PM was realy something soo different esp after the camp and the shepherding. And yea as u can see my previous post, i totally did not regret goin for pm! Sadly the worst came today… Woke up cant even stand properly, having fever, coughing until troat super pain and blocked nose… Ended up my mum dun let me go for svc and ask me not to work!! Haha was super happy on the not working part but was really sad that i missed pre xmas svc!!! Stupid work end at 11 plus den hide in the stuffy kitchen standin for 7-5 hrs it make me tired and sick just to think that im working again tmr for 7hrs! Yea i think wat i just type is sort of messy haha…
Okay now since im so free, i shld post bout the heroes camp!!!
12th dec…
Went Hua xiang house(by taxi) supposedly to dump all my luggage there and go sss to do decor and come return to his house to sleep! But plan changed. We went sss(by taxi) as planned and we help out in making some props and decor. Haha Hua xiang made a really cool stringe u know the doctor use one? And a police hat haha. And i made a really really nice harp!!! HAHAHA… Though the strings is abit wrong but its still nice! haha saw many ppl use it to take photo at the last day of camp. Den we help until 9pm realised that we have not enough time to put up the poster u know the 5 character poster? Yea so we plan a proposal to our decor leader. Saying that we go back first bring our luggage back to sss so that we can help her to put up the things overnight haha and of course its a deal too good to reject she allowed. Den yea went to causeway point to search for leader appreciation cards first spent like $17! Yea den went hua xiang house many things happen! He forget to bring his house key is one of them!!! He left it at sss! Haha luckily his parent still at home. Yea den he pack bag and do other stuffs and we left house. And as i said before he forget to take his house key, and this time his parent left home, we have to climb over the stupid gate! The gate is like some metel thing with arrows pointing upwards beinga person which doesnt really like climbing over things hesitated while climbing and that stupid hua xiang keep scolding me just jump la u so lousy and everything. So i climb reach the top, jump off! And “ZIIIT” my shirt tear at the back…Stupid hua xiang den laugh out loud!!! Den we went back sss (by taxi). Haha yea den we put up the poster until 1am plus with the help of some minops ppl and sneak into rooms to sleep haha. Fyi we arent suppose sleep in the rooms before 13th but who cares… Haha. Shared a six bed room with the other brothers in minops. Yea u must be wondering why is there the (by taxi) thing haha. Cuz i brought around 50 plus for camp and i ended up spending $17 for cards and around $20 on cabs when camp havent even start!
13th dec…
Can’t sleep. the pillow is soooo hard the bed is sooo hard… turning here and there on the bed from like 3 am to 4/5 am. “woke” up at 7:30 am! So yea went to complete a half done harp. And camp start!!! Was really tired. Its just like FIRST DAY! Okay nvm. Den games…some station games… Haha really tiring. Wasnt exactly that fun but there is a meaning behind the games! Yea den the opening ceremony was really cool! Their hard work paid off. Voice of truth… Den at night first teaching! It kick start the whole camp with a lesson on humility. It help me to realised that i need to expose my sins and weaknesses to grow! This verse is really cool haha.

Yea if we dun humble ourselves, we wont be able to see how weak are we! And we will nvr grow! Cuz with a stiff heart, God can teach us or impart us anything through anyone! None of us is good enough! Only God. And God was, is and is to come! God is the same forever! Yea and also i dun wanna wait for 80 yrs before i humble myself to God. I wanna start now! I also want to hunger for god like Moses! And keep on learing continuously. This cannot happen if im not humble! Yea the altar call was great… Really submit myself and humble myself to God and responded to God… Den i cant rmb much already.

Had a better rest and woke up much more refreshed! Had a lesson on loyalty. Loyalty is a decision. Its a choice! We can only be loyal to one. Act of binding oneself to faithful adhering to a leader or a course! As christian we must be loyal to God and its pupose! The great commission! Loyalty need stamina! Loyalty need to be spoken! Loyalty needs hands to do something! Loyalty is really a choice for u! Once u make the choice to be loyal, u need to have the stamina to perservere on! And do somthing bout it! Dwn workshop on spiritual giftings. I have the gift of serving and craftmanship! Followed by mercy and encouragement haha. Yea den it was minilution!! Stupid chee hwee injured his leg during the free time before minilution haha. Den spoilt the whole minilution haha have to serve him food and treat him (im a medic :( ) Yea. But the leader’s appreciaiton night was real cool! Haha shepherd had Ben and jerry ice cream!!! HAha took the strawberry thingy flavour haha it rocks! Yea but wont forget the meaning behind this gift! Yea den gave a small token to chee hwee, sunny and marcus! Haha. Den gave cards to them and gideon and decor leader! Haha. A great night!!! Yea then the next teaching. Pastor jeff gave a great teaching on FAITH!!!! I mean every teaching is great but the way its preached really impacted me much more! Last time at sss in X29 we had pastor simon eng this time round we have pastor jeff!! For those who know me well, shld know even if this teaching is not by ps jeff, it will still be a great teaching because its on FAITH!!! Theres so many things i’ve learnt in this teaching so much that i think it can cover 12th and 13th length haha so i wont share so specifically, just that i admire the faith that Abraham had! Haha i wont imagine tryinto kill my son! haha. I gotta belive in God and step out of my comfort zone into the combat zone. If we dun have guts and no faith, God cant use us and we wont grow! Yea…

Learn loads of thing in the teaching on courage too! Thos who dunno one of my camp objective planned BEFORE camp was courage! Not knowing wats install for me during camp, I was surprised that one of the teaching is on courage! Praise God! Esther’s courage is not any ordinary courage. But its rooted and trust in God! Courage help us to step into the unknow, to believe in the unbelievable and to do the unthinkable…Too much to wirte here la haha if u want to know more and did not go for HEROES camp come to me :))) Den is games! Haha the puzzle is really cool! Even us the decor ppl nvr really see the whole 63 mahjong paper pieced up tgt all we had was a A4 accurate draft of the picture divided into 63 parts! And we just draw part by part and conncet part by part and see if it matches the next number! Den we keep it already! Yea haha. Den had the final and last lesson on ambition! Kingdom ambition!!! Yea… Den help out in manna shop from 1 am to 4 am… My brain is dying now… After such wordy post!

Haha Last day! Camp seems to end sooooooooo fast!! Haha really dunno if it cuz this camp isnt that tiring or is it this camp was such a blast that im so into it and just forget bout the time… Maybe both! Haha how cool can a camp be when there is Subway for lunch! And ben and jerry ice cream given out for free!!! Yea so took photossssss den help to pack up the hall and decor stuffs and went home! Haha got loads of free drinks and sweets and everything haha.

The uber cool banners! Haha leak out some inside info. Didnt have much time left so u can see the david name is not really that nice! Compared to that of paul we did 1 week before camp. And oso other than Paul which was done around3-4 days before camp, the rest started about 2 days before camp! Another obvious info is that we forget to paint MOSES FACE as in the eyes and everything!!! hahaha oops…
